I
am " just a regular guy " that is voicing his personal
opinion on this matter. First off, I want to make it clear that
I hope Scott Peterson receives a fair trial by impartial jurors.
I
for one believe he is guilty of murdering his wife Laci. Therefore,
I would not be able to serve on his jury because I could do not
be impartial. I could listen to all the facts of the case and weigh
the evidence because I am already sure of his guilt in my own mind.
Looking
at the totality of the circumstantial evidence against him, and
the theory floated by his defensive team is not believable, I can
come to no other opinion. His actions had been absolutely astounding
and were not the actions of a man missing, looking for and mourning
his wife and unborn child.
Scott's
defense team, in my personal opinion, would like to turn this into
another " O.J. " type trial and outcome for lord only
knows what reason.
I
as a citizen of this country have the right to voice my opinion
on this matter. I am not being malicious or slandering anyone. The
evidence and Scott's actions speak for themselves.
If
Scott Peterson and his defense team feel he can not receive a fair
trial, they have no one to blame but Scott himself. Scott was the
one that kept himself in the spotlight by his actions and openly
and freely speaking to the press. No one forced Scott to give the
national interviews that he did. He did it on his own will and told
the interviewers what he wanted them to hear. His inconsistent statements
will be and should be held against him.
Scott
never tried to help the police, so they could clear him as a suspect.
Why? You can form your own opinion.
Here
are the reasons why I believe Scott Peterson is the right suspect
for murdering his wife Laci Peterson and their unborn son:
- Going
fishing by himself on Christmas Eve so far from home when his
wife was 8 months pregnant
- Laci
not telling her family or friends Scott was going fishing, when
they were supposed to go to dinner at her parents house on Christmas
Eve
- Scott
not being able to account for ( 3 of 5 ) anchors he made
- Scott
not being able to account for the 55 gallon drum he purchased
- Scott
refusing entry into his home to the police and telling them they
needed a search warrant to come in. This makes no sense at all
because he called them to come there because he believed his wife
was missing. The delaying of the initial investigation meant,
that if a so called satanic cult had taken Laci, valuable time
that could have potentially saved her life was being wasted because
of Scott. Unbelievable!
- Scott
having an affair and telling his mistress ( I chose not to bring
her into this ) his wife had died a year earlier. Also having
this affair when his wife was close to giving birth.
- Scott
selling Laci's vehicle and trying to sell their home. Where did
Scott think Laci would go if she got away from the people that
may have taken her, as claimed by the defense? She could have
potentially showed up back at their home with new owners there.
Unbelievable!
- Scott
refusing to take a lie detector to clear himself so the police
could focus in other directions
- Scott
expanding the search grid to San Diego
- Scott
changing his hair color, growing a goatee, carrying his brothers
passport and $10,000 dollars while close to the Mexico border
- Scott
continuing to play golf while his wife was missing. Unbelievable!
I would have a tough time getting out of bed in the morning if
my wife and unborn child were missing! I sure is heck would not
be engaging in fun activities for myself like golf.
- Scott
not flying home immediately when an adult female corpse and infant
corpse were found. If he was looking and yearning for his wife
and child, he should have flown home right away. He never did.
His actions tell all.
- much,
much more.
This
is only my opinion, and I have a right to say how I feel and share
my thoughts with others. May God bless and shelter Laci and baby
Connor. May they rest in peace. They have forever touched my life.
Update:
A jury of Scott's peers agreed with me and found him guilty of their
murders. Scott was sentenced to die for his crimes. May God have
mercy on his soul. May Laci and Connor rest peacefully now.
